Orthopedic Surgeon---- Vernal Utah
Need a General Orthopedic Surgeon to replace outgoing orthopedist who is moving. This is to either join a private practice with one other, establish their own private practice and share call with the other, or could possibly be a hospital employed position sharing call with the other. We would consider a fellowship trained candidate as long as they understood that roughly 98% of their practice was going to be general work.-- In general the two orthos combined have been doing between 50 and 70 cases per month with room to grow. Candidate would need to take some call which is negotiable. The two have been going a week on and a week off. All large bone fractures are handled here in the hospital, and very infrequently sent out. B/C, B/E (if coming out of training), MD and DO's are fine. No FMG's or Visas. Candidate MUST have impeccable background and strong surgical skills. This is a PERM position only. Practicing Orthopedists or 2017 -18 residents and fellows.
