ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Rock Springs, Wyoming. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/26/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ICU Job Details: • Provide bedside nursing care and manage critical care patients in a rural setting • Work with another RN, maintaining 1:2 patient ratio for critical care and 1:4 for stepdown patients • Handle 1:4-5 patient ratio for medsurg overflow when needed • Weekend shifts required • On-call responsibilities may be required during low census periods • Float to medsurg, ER, and post-partum units to assist but not take full patient load • Work in 10-bed ICU unit • Utilize various equipment including Alaris IV pumps, Space labs, cardiac monitoring, Mindray vitals, Nicom, Kangaroo pumps, Zo US defibrillators, and Pyxis • Minimum 2 years of critical care experience required • Wyoming RN state license or compact license required • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS • Any color scrubs permitted • Orientation includes HR and education requirements on day 1, restraint training on day 2, followed by one shadow shift • Position also covers medsurg shifts • Facility allows up to 24 hours of call-offs per 13-week contract Facility: This healthcare facility serves as a critical care center in a rural community, featuring a 10-bed intensive care unit equipped with modern medical technology.
