*Job Overview*We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans and ensuring patient safety throughout the imaging process. This role requires a strong understanding of diagnostic evaluation, medical terminology, and anatomy, along with proficiency in various imaging techniques including CT, X-Ray, and nuclear medicine.*Responsibilities** Perform CT scans on patients as per physician orders, ensuring high-quality images for diagnostic evaluation.* Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and addressing any concerns they may have.* Administer contrast materials as needed and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.* Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses.* Maintain equipment and ensure it is functioning properly; report any malfunctions or issues promptly.* Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.* Keep accurate records of patient information, procedures performed, and results obtained.* Stay updated on advancements in imaging technology and techniques, including PET scans and diagnostic radiology.*Qualifications** Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) (R)(CT)* Advanced skills needed: Ability to perform CT and X-ray independently Procedures performed on unit* Certifications Required: BLSJob Types: Full-time, ContractPay: $2,500.00 - $2,700.00 per weekBenefits:* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Vision insuranceSchedule:* 12 hour shift* Night shiftAbility to Commute:* Vernal, UT 84078 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Vernal, UT 84078: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In personby Jobble
